Anna Bråkenhielm


Anna Bråkenhielm (senior consultant; 1966) is one of the most renowned TV executives in Scandinavia, recognised as the first in the world to produce ‘Survivor’. Anna headed Strix Television for over a decade and made it the most successful TV production company in Scandinavia, placing its formats in over 72 countries.

In 2006, Anna founded Talpa Scandinavia. In May 2007, she took control of 100% of the company and re-branded it as Silverback. The company was able to sell its in-house created formats to 13 different countries. In May 2008, Anna sold Silverback to ITV and remained CEO for another 2 years.

In August 2011, Anna founded a new production and format company, named Scandinavian Studios. They teamed up with Bonnier, a media group consisting of 175 companies across 16 countries with a combined turnover of 5 billion USD.

Anna joined 3Rivers in 2016 and has comprehensive knowledge of the Scandinavian and international TV production market. She focusses on strategy development, creative development and international market research.
