Tina Nijkamp

Tina Nijkamp (1972) studied Communication Science at the University of Amsterdam from which she graduated with a thesis on the success factors of daytime television. After a longstanding career at Endemol and SBS Productions, where she launched many successful new shows, she became the youngest and first female program director of the Netherlands ever in 2005. After a few years successfully leading the channel SBS6, she was appointed program director of all 3 SBS channels, SBS6, Net5 and Veronica. The succesful programming  was resulting in unprecedented market shares. Under her leadership SBS6 was elected strongest media brand of The Netherlands twice. In 2008 Tina was also elected Mediaperson of the Year. In recent years Tina coached people and media companies with their formats and productions. Tina combines her expertise of successful programming with an excellent knowledge of producing shows and marketing of a channel or platform.

Tina Nijkamp joins 3Rivers on 1 January 1st, 2022

Tina Nijkamp will join 3Rivers media management consultants as senior advisor as of January 1, 2022. Tina has many years of experience in the field of both television production and broadcasting. For many years, with remarkable success, she was program director at SBS in the Netherlands and has great insights in how a channel or platform should reach its viewers. Tina was voted Broadcasting Woman of the Year in 2008 and under her leadership SBS6 was awarded twice the title ‘strongest media brand in the Netherlands’. She also has in-depth knowledge of the way in which television programs should be made. In recent years she has guided program makers in the development of their ideas and productions.
