Situation

ProSiebenSat1 had a tough period during the financial crisis in 2008.

Approach

A 3Rivers team consisting of Oege Boonstra, Meindert Landsmeer, Mark Ramakers and Tanja Deuerling conducted several restructuring projects, all of them starting with a thorough F-scan of the organization.

Solution

Substantial cost reduction was achieved in the production business, whereas the broadcast business started to flourish again after an overhaul of the creative decision making process.
